On the occasion of the 10th anniversary ‘English Winglish’ And a huge success, director Shinde has arranged a special screening to commemorate the famous name and late actor Sridevi. which still reigns supreme after her death in 2018.
In a recent hangout with Indian news portals to talk about a decade of ‘English Winglish’Shinde said “We are celebrating the tenth anniversary of English VinglishSo we’re broadcasting in Andheri on October 10.”
“We’re going to screen the movie, get people in, talk about the movie. That’s a rough plan,” she details.
Shinde is also planning to auction off the beautiful wardrobe worn by famous designer Sabyasachi’s housewife Shashi Godbole.
She noted that “We will also auction her saree. which I have kept safe until now.”
“We are bidding on sarees Sridevi wearing as Shashi in movie. I want to use it for girls education NGO. I always wanted to do this but it never happened I think now would be the most appropriate.”
‘English Winglish’which revolves around the story of Shashi Godbole, an entrepreneur and housewife who is not fluent in English so enrolled in an English-speaking course on a trip to New York.
In addition to Sridevi in the lead role of Godbole, the film also stars Adil Hussain, Mehdi Nebbou and Priya Anand.
