Reserves held by the central bank fell $106 million for the week ended September 30, 2022, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.

Total liquid foreign exchange reserves held by the country were $13.59 billion, the SBP said on Thursday. Shocking level SBP reserves fell $7.9 billion Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks amounted to $5.69 billion.
“During the week ended September 30, 2022, SBP’s reserves dropped $106 million to $7,899.8 million due to external debt settlements, which included interest payments on the euro bond,” SBP said.
