Has the road to the general elections been paved?
After the defeat in the by-elections of Punjab, will the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-N still stick to its announcement of completing the term of the National Assembly?
Some analysts still believe that at least Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif would want the general elections to be pushed forward and the prime minister decide on key appointments after a few months and then go ahead and announce the elections.
However, according to analysts, pressure will be increased by Imran Khan to immediately abolish the federal government and announce new elections.
PTI does not need the support of the establishment to win elections?
