Federal Bureau of Investigation (FIA) Cybercrime Division has arrested a Pakistani worker. Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) named Aslam for alleged death threats to Pakistani Muslim (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
A PTI employee named Aslam has been arrested by the FIA’s cybercriminal group for threatening to kill Maryam Nawaz on social media.(Death threat to Maryam Nawaz FIA arrests) A video of Aslam containing the PML-N VP’s death threat went viral.
According to a spokesman, the FIA has registered the case against the suspects under three parts. The complainant in the case was a citizen of Faisalabad’s Chak 51, the spokesman added.

FIA Cyber Crime Wing Attacks
In another attack today Faisalabad’s cybercriminal group has arrested a suspect involved in the harassment of women by sharing inappropriate videos on social media.

The suspect is identified as Kashif, who shared an abusive video of the complainant’s daughter on social media and is blackmailing her.
Intelligence officials confirmed that they had recovered the victim’s inappropriate video from the suspect’s cell phone. The case is registered by the FIA under PECA.

The FIA Sukkur cybercrime circle is also working on arrests of suspects involved in sharing child pornography.
The arrests were made by the Sukkur intelligence agency’s cybercriminal group, and they filed charges under PECA. The suspect was identified as Ghufran and an FIA official found pornographic material from his mobile phone, a spokesman said.
