A week-long anti-polio campaign cannot begin in many of the metropolitan UCs. Amid health and medical workers protesting across Sindha for health risk subsidies, OPD and routine services have been suspended in government hospitals across Sindh.

Earlier, the Sindh government decided to launch a week-long anti-polio campaign to vaccinate more than 6.5 million children under five from October 24.
The decision was made by the provincial working group at the Anti-Polio Movement Conference, chaired by Health Minister Azra Pechuho.
